GLENFARCLAS HIGHLAND SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY – THE LAST OF THE MILLENNIUM

On the final day of the last millennium, the Grant family and distillery staff gathered to fill a series of casks at Glenfarclas. Among the attendees was George S. Grant, who had served as Chairman for an extraordinary 52 years, and his son John, the current Chairman. This would be the last time George S. Grant visited the distillery before passing away in 2002, lending profound significance to this cask.

Comprising the Fourth Edition of the Glenfarclas Decanter Series, this single cask was chosen from the twelve filled that day as a showcase of Glenfarclas’ heritage and unique style. Pol Roger Portfolio has selected a single sherry butt, filled on 31st December 1999 and matured for over 25 years and bottled on 28th August 2025.

Bottled at natural colour and at 51.2% ABV, only 600 Glencairn decanters have been produced.
