Ardnamurchan – Madeira Cask Release

This single malt Scotch whisky begins its journey in ex-Bourbon casks before a finishing period in rich Madeira wine casks. The 2025 release, bottled at 52% ABV, is composed of 60% unpeated and 40% peated spirit, resulting in a beautifully balanced dram. Expect layers of chocolate, red fruits, and warming spice, all leading to a refined, dry finish. True to Ardnamurchan’s ethos, it is presented at natural colour and without chill filtration.

Nose: Stewed fruits mingle with sugared nuts and a hint of red currant.
Palate: Chocolate chips, toffee apple, aromatic spice, and a touch of rosemary.
Finish: Medium-bodied, gently dusty, and satisfyingly dry.
