After spending around eight years in traditional oak casks, this Arran Single Malt is transferred to carefully selected Port wine casks from a skilled, small-scale producer in Portugal. Under the close supervision of our Master Distiller, the whisky is finished to perfection—allowing the vibrant influence of the Port to complement, rather than overpower, the whisky’s natural character.
The result is a beautifully balanced whisky brimming with richness, warmth, and charm—a delightful entry point into the more indulgent side of the Arran range.
Nose
Warming spice with cinnamon and baked orchard fruits—especially stewed apples.
Palate
Soft vanilla spice gives way to juicy citrus, dried fruits, and a touch of nuttiness. With water, deeper layers emerge—mandarin orange, creamy fudge, and honeyed sweetness.
Finish
Long and satisfying with notes of spiced chocolate, bitter orange zest, and juicy cherries.
