Cask Finished Whisky Tasting – Friday 30th May @ 6pm

Although most whisky is matured in either ex-bourbon or ex-sherry casks, the popularity and scale of whiskies matured and finished in different types of cask are now mind blowing. From ex-wine and rum casks to ex-IPA and port casks, during this tasting session we will explore, the how, the where and the why and give you a taste for some delicious cask finished whiskies that you won’t find on the supermarket shelves.

we will cover:

1. A brief history of Whisky
2. An overview of the whisky production process
3. How to taste whisky
4. Tasting of 6 whiskies from different parts of Scotland

The session will last approximately 90 minutes .

Please do not drive to the event as you should not operate a motor vehicle following a good selection of single malt whisky.
