The second core range single malt to be released from LAGG Distillery, Corriecravie is here! As with every Lagg whisky, the production process involved water from the distillery’s own borehole as well as a specifically chosen barley variety (Concerto in this case), yeast, and fermentation time tailored to the particular whisky. Corriecravie was then matured initially in bourbon barrels before being finished for approximately 6 months in oloroso sherry hogsheads from renowned producer Miguel Martin in Jerez, Spain. It was bottled at 55% ABV, without chill filtration, and with no added colour.
The Corriecravie Edition will be bottled in limited quantities once a year, so you can expect more in the future.
