This Brown Rum from Siddiqui (pronounced ‘sid-dee-key’) aims to bridge the gap between whisky and rum. It takes a base of Siddiqui White Rum, and then leaves it to rest in American oak, where it takes on its colour and slightly smoky, oaky, caramel flavour profile. While Siddiqui is an American brand based in California, the folks from Penderyn in Wales produce it for the international market!
Slightly smoky, with burnt toffee, toasty oak, silky caramel and a dry, tannic woody finish.
